Transform Yourself
A Home Study Course for Individuals

Who is this course for?

Anyone who would like to stop self-sabotaging, improve their self-confidence and feel better about themselves and their life. Whether you’re single or in a relationship, this course will guide you towards being the best version of yourself which will be of benefit to any relationship, particularly the one you have with yourself.

What will this course give me?

This course will equip you with enough information, guidance and tools to be able to increase your self-knowledge and self-confidence. It’s the perfect first step to improving your life and relationships, without needing others to change.

Why do I need to do a course like this? Expand

As children we regularly hear that our choice of behaviour is wrong - “Don’t do that”, we're often told. Sometimes we need to be told this for our own safety, but often it’s not just our behaviour we’re told to change, we’re also told we need to be different; “You should be more…”, “You should be less…”.

The very essence of who we are as little people is thus moulded and often unintentionally restricted by our caregivers. We are given messages suggesting we're "too..." or "not enough…”. These negative messages cause self-doubt and fear which erode self-confidence.

As little people we believe these messages and we decide (unconsciously) that we should change ourselves to elicit more positive messages so we feel loved and accepted. We don’t notice that when we become big people, we unconsciously continue our childish strategies for getting love and acceptance. But as adults though, these strategies don’t generally serve us.

In order to increase your sense of self and your confidence, you need to become aware of the childish strategies you use and start making conscious choices about whether they still serve you. Whether or not you follow your thoughts determines how you feel and behave, which in turn affects your life. There’s a direct correlation between changing the limiting parts of your belief system (ie your negative and limiting thoughts) and creating a more confident way of living.

Now is the time for you to start sifting through all that you’ve been told and decide for yourself what works for you and what doesn’t. This course is the perfect guidance system for that.

How do you know this course will work for me? Expand

I don’t. I don’t know the point you’re starting from. I don’t know the hurts of your past. I don’t know what you’re willing to put into this.

I do know that IT will have the best chance of working if YOU do the work.

I know that if you take on board what the course tells you, do all the exercises and keep practicing using the tools, you will have enough to be able to move yourself forward.

I don’t suggest anything that hasn’t benefitted hundreds of my clients, or me in my own life. As a Counsellor and a Coach supporting individuals, couples and teams for over 20 years, I’ve developed proven techniques for creating positive change and many of them are included in this course.

Please be advised though, this course is not intended for you if you are experiencing significant distress, anxiety, depression or mental health problems. If you are experiencing any of these issues, please seek immediate support from a trained mental health professional.

Here are just some of the changes I’ve seen as a result: Expand

• Moving on from the past and its hurts
• Replacing destructive behaviour patterns with self-care
• Being less affected by what others think
• Dealing with conflict more effectively
• Letting go of fears
• Ending an unhealthy relationship
• Rejuvenating a struggling relationship
• Reducing stress and anxiety
• Feeling more confident

Is this course a Quick Fix? Expand

No! If you’re looking for a quick fix or something that can help you transform yourself or your life overnight, this is not the course for you. But if you want to develop sustainable self-confidence and you’re willing to put some work into creating the life you want, then read on.

Getting fit takes more than just watching a video and sitting back waiting for the change to happen. In the same way, developing and maintaining new ways of thinking and behaving takes time and regular practice. Think of it as going to a mind-gym! I’m your personal trainer whilst you do this course. When the course is finished, you’ll know what exercises will help you keep emotionally fit and your new knowledge will help you understand how and why. You can always come back to the course for a refresher, just like you would a personal trainer!

What does the course consist of? Expand

The course consists of four modules which comprise a total of 17 short videos.

There’s also an easy-to-follow comprehensive (100 pages) workbook full of worksheets, tools and wisdom distilled from all that I’ve learned over the past 20 years. There are also 16 exercises to complete which will help bring to life what the videos say.

The workbook is downloadable (it can be completed on any device) and printable (if you prefer to use a pen and paper) and contains summaries of the video content and ample space for reflection. It serves as the perfect companion to the videos.

How long will it take to complete the course? Expand

How long you spend on each exercise is up to you. But as a guideline, if you allow around 2 hours a week to focus on the videos and the corresponding parts of the workbook, you’d be likely to complete it all in 4-6 weeks.

If you prefer to complete it more quickly, you can, as you will have immediate access to all the material once you purchase the course. I would recommend you spend at least 2 weeks doing it though, to allow plenty of time to reflect, process and practice what you’ve learned.

What do people think of it? Expand

This course has been very beneficial in helping me understand my own limitations, and make sense of my defence mechanisms. What I have gained from it most is understanding the power of forgiveness and being kind to myself and then bringing this into my marriage and other relationships. Juliette's style is very kind and straightforward, making what she says easy to understand and implement. The videos and the workbook helped me work on my challenges and turn them around into positive actions. I highly recommend this course....you'll want to revisit it over and over again!

...I could work through the exercises in my own time and at my own pace. This meant that I could really take the time to focus on the areas that most resonated with me.  It felt like a bespoke course, aimed specifically at me, even though of course it would be helpful to almost anyone I’d imagine.

I found Juliette’s videos very engaging and her presentation warm and genuine.  The accompanying workbook was an excellent tool to prompt deep thought around the issues I was working through at the time...

MODULE1 - Develop your Self-Awareness

Experience the power of greater self-awareness

The first couple of modules of this course are all about you getting to know yourself better. You can’t proactively change something if you don’t know it. You might know you have painful feelings but if you’re mistaken about what’s causing them, it’s hard to change them. We often think we know. We tell ourselves “It’s because of him/her/it” But it isn’t. He, she or it just provokes a thought in us. Increasing your self-awareness, means learning to notice these thoughts, examine them more closely and recognise how misleading they can be.

Doing this module, you’ll be able to see the link between the misleading thoughts and your unnecessary painful feelings. We’ll then look at how your feelings determine your behaviours and how knowing the true cause of the feelings can reduce their negative impact.

MODULE 2 - What Drives your Behaviour?

Discover and start changing the beliefs and behaviours that sabotage your life

In this module we’ll look more deeply into why you behave in ways that don’t serve you and through that exploration, begin to create change. When someone or something provokes a strong reaction in you, it may mean that something in your unconscious has been triggered. Often, it’s a limiting belief or a story you’ve had about yourself or others or your environment for years, such as “I’m not good enough” or “People can’t be trusted”.

We’ll start to identify your limiting beliefs and stories and explore where and why they emerged. We’ll explore the impact they (and the behaviours that result) have on your life and why it feels hard to change them. Then we’ll look at how you can challenge them as a first step to creating new beliefs that serve you and more accurate stories that represent reality so you can feel more confident about who you are.

MODULE 3 - The Real You

Uncover the parts of you that can guide you towards happiness
Having explored and understood what limits you, now you can become proactive about uncovering the real and wonderful you.
This module will guide you towards getting to know the parts of you that support and serve you.

You’ll examine the differences between your vulnerabilities and the masks you wear – the masks that not only hide your vulnerabilities, but also hide your amazing qualities, strengths and talents. You’ll explore your values and consider what changes are possible in your life if you honour them, including dispelling your sabotaging thoughts and having the confidence to remove your masks. We’ll look more deeply at how your feelings affect and shape you and what they might have to tell you.

All of this will aid the process of you becoming more self-accepting leading to more self-trust and ultimately more self-confidence.

MODULE 4 - Positive Change

A box of tools for anchoring your self-acceptance and self-confidence

Module 4 offers you the opportunity and the tools to use to develop more compassion and love for yourself, accept all that makes you who you are and keep growing in self-confidence.

It includes a plethora of exercises and information to help you let go of your self-judgements and build your compassion, self-acceptance and forgiveness “muscles”. This is where you start your work at the “mind-gym”.

It guides you through numerous regular practices that, if used regularly, can support you to keep developing new and constructive habits to replace those old habits that have long been doing you a disservice.
